Fenomena Buaya Sebamban, BKSDA Kalsel: Sudah Diperingatkan Sejak 2017 Lalu

STARBANJAR - The Natural Resources Conservation Agency (BKSDA) of South Kalimantan confirmed that there will be more warning boards around Sebamban Baru Village, Sungai Loban District, Tanah Bumbu. So that people are wary of crocodile attacks.

The step was taken, South Kalimantan BKSDA followed a teenage girl killed, namely DV (17 years old), a resident of Sebamban Baru Village, RT 1, Sungai Loban Subdistrict, Tanah Bumbu. The victims of crocodile malignancy when swimming in the river next to his house, on Sunday (10/4/2020).

South Kalimantan BKSDA Staff Jarot said the phenomenon of crocodiles in the area had actually been warned since 2017.

"There has been a warning board made that there is a crocodile at the location. However, because for a long time the crocodile has never appeared mistaken the crocodile community there has not existed," he said.

So, according to him, it made people think that the crocodile was gone.

"That is where the people began to dare to bathe and wash clothes. But, in fact the crocodile in that area is still there," he explained.

It was said, indeed it had made only one warning board in the area, and in the future it would make more.

"Later, in the future the residents will also let the community know that there is a crocodile in the river area," he said
